Lessons learned Meeting Formats

 

The purpose is to identify the causes of variances, the reasoning behind the corrective action chosen. Other types of lessons learned from schedule control should be documented, so that they become part of the historical database for both this project and other projects of the performing organization. I will report the information throughout the execution process and react with a sense of urgency to reduce the impact.

 

When in the lessons learned meeting after the phase or project completion there may need to be some finger pointing. We all make mistakes but how we deal with the mistake is the difference. Be honest with the stakeholders utilizing problem solving to repair the damage you will find the problem often takes care of itself.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Other approach is to complete a cause and effect analysis however, for now we will hold lesson learned meeting and interviews.
